GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The BHUC Director is responsible for the overall clinical and operational leadership of the Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) program. This role provides direction to the clinical, administrative and nursing teams, while ensuring services are delivered in compliance with North Carolina Medicaid BHUC guidelines. The BHUC Director supports trauma-informed, person-centered care and leads continuous quality improvement efforts.
The BHUC Director will be responsible for: Leadership and team supervision, crisis decision-making prioritization, crisis management and safety oversight, effective verbal and written communication, and knowledge of behavioral health systems and regulations.
